Why I Don’t Offer Domestic Service Calls (But I’m Happy to Help in Other Ways!)
I’m committed to keeping my services affordable and accessible for all my customers. To achieve this, I’ve made the decision not to offer in-home service calls for domestic sewing machines.
This choice comes down to two key reasons:
Rising Costs: The cost of insurance for entering private homes has significantly increased.
Efficiency: Traveling to homes means loading the van, driving, completing the service, and then returning and unloading—all of which takes time. This adds costs that would ultimately need to be passed on to you.
By encouraging customers to bring their machines to me, I can ensure my pricing stays fair and reasonable without compromising on quality.
If transportation is a challenge for you, don’t worry—I’ve got you covered! I’m delighted to offer a pickup and delivery service to make things as easy as possible. Just let me know, and I’ll take care of the rest.
